A non-ionic acid non-emulsifier designed for application in acidizing and fracturing operations. The product effectively breaks water blocks and prevents/removes crude oil in water or acid emulsions.

Iron Control

Skye Chem IC-50S   (Iron Control Additive)

Used in oil well acidizing to prevent the formation of insoluble gels of iron hydroxide.

Gel Stabilizers

Skye Chem GS-30L   (Liquid Gel Stabilizer)

A liquid high-temperature gel stabilizer used in aqueous fracturing fluids.

Friction Reducers

Skye Chem DCF-203   (Anionic Friction Reducer)

An economic anionic friction reducer for fresh water fracturing and completion fluids. Is designed to reduce drag and friction pressures when pumping low viscosity fluids.

Skye Chem DCF-233   (Anionic Friction Reducer)

An advanced anionic friction reducer for brines or high TDS water based fracturing and completion fluids. Is designed to reduce drag and friction pressures when pumping low viscosity fluids.

Breakers

Skye Chem B-10L   (High Temp Liquid Breaker Agent)

A liquid oxidizing breaker agent used to reduce the viscosity of guar and guar derivative based fracturing fluids. It is used in fracturing fluids with a wide pH range from 6 to 12. It is effective at temperatures up to 180°F - 275”F (82°C - 135°C).

Skye Chem B-5   (Powered Breaker Agent)

A pure powdered powerful oxidizer for use as a breaker agent in guar and guar derivative based fracturing fluids. it is a potent breaker, highly efficient and cost effective. It is effective at temperatures up to 130°F - 200°F (54.4°C - 93.3”C).

Skye Chem BE-5HT   (Encapsulated Breaker Agent)

A powerful encapsulated oxidizer for use as a delayed release breaker agent in guar and guar derivative based fracturing fluids. It is a potent breaker, highly efficient and cost effective. It is effective at temperatures up to 140°F - 225°F (60°C - 107°C).

Biocide

Skye Chem K-BAC 2025   (Biocide)

A colorless aqueous solution with glutaraldehyde as the active ingredient. An extremely potent antimicrobial with a broad spectrum of activity against microorganisms. Eliminates sulfate reducing bacteria and microbiological contaminants that create problems for the Oil & Gas Industry.

Cross-linkers

Skye Chem BXL-5   (Borate Cross-Linker)

An easy to use instant liquid borate crosslinker that is a freeze protected liquid, which makes it easier to use than conventional dry powder borate products. It can be used at temperatures up to 300°F (148.9°C).

Skye Chem BXL-14D   (Delayed Borate Cross-linker)

A stable brine based borate cross-linker that yields high quality, viscous guar and hydroxypropylguar gels. It is a delayed cross-linker for guar and HPG gels to minimize pumping friction pressure encountered with an instant cross-linker. Is stable between 145°F - 300°F (62°C - 150°C).

Buffers

Skye Chem BB-N25   (High pH Buffer)

This is a high pH liquid buffer that is designed to maximize the performance and stability of water based fracturing fluids.

Skye Chem BB-K3   (High pH Buffer)

This is a high pH liquid buffer with specialty additives that are designed to maximize the performance and stability of water based fracturing fluids. This buffer also helps maintain or hold the proper pH which is critical for fluid stability.

Skye Chem BB-K4   (High pH Buffer)

This is a high pH liquid buffer with specialty additives that are designed to maximize the performance and stability of water based fracturing fluids. Skye Chem BB-K4 is a more concentrated version of Skye Chem BBK3, that allows for lower loadings of buffer to be used.

Skye Chem BL-4   (Low pH Buffer)

An acidic liquid buffer that is designed to maximize the performance of low pH water based fracturing fluids. Can also be used to aid in the hydration of modified guar based fracturing fluids.

Skye Chem DCF-480   (Short Term Clay Control)

A specialized liquid product designed specifically for use as a replacement for bagged potassium chloride. It is compatible with all gels, cross-linkers and breaker systems typically utilized in well drilling, stimulation and work over operations. It may be used in fresh water, acid or brine systems and will not hinder the performance of acid corrosion inhibitors.
